REGULATIONS - PSFF 2024

14. Postira Seaside Film Festival 

23rd July - 28th July 2024

The international short film festival „Postira Seaside Film Festival“ will take place from the 23rd of July to the 28th of July 2024 in Postira, Croatia. 

PROGRAM SECTIONS 

International competition 

We only accept short fiction films (no animation, experimental or documentary films) completed after 1st January 2022. 

Their duration should not exceed 30 minutes. 

Midnight shorts competition

International shorts (no animation, experimental or documentary films) completed after 1st January 2022 not selected for the international competition might be shown in this program section.

Specials

Presentation of special program sections. International shorts (no animation, experimental or documentary films) completed after 1st January 2022 not selected for the international competition might be shown in this program section. The films will be chosen according to specific aspects.

Croatian shorts 

We only accept short fiction films completed after 1st January 2022. Their duration should not exceed 40 minutes. 

FILM-ENTRY 

The deadline for film-entry is 1st April 2024. 

Participants have to send:

An online or download link of their film with English subtitles along with the filled out Entry Form to our mail adress postiraseaside@gmail.com. 

In case of selection we well need the film as HD-quicktime-movie.

FILM SELECTION AND NOMINATION 

The festival may, under circumstances, choose films that do not conform to the regulations. The film applicants will be informed about the results of the selection through our website. We are not able to pay any screening fees for the selected films. Unfortunately we are not able to pay travel costs for representatives of the selected films, but we will offer accommodation. We also invite everybody interested to come to our festival and will be pleased to help them with finding accommondation. 

AWARDS (subject to change)

Films in the International Competition will compete for the audience award:

"The Golden Sardine"

and

a 7-day-stay for two persons in the 4-star „Hotel Pastura“ in Postira anytime in 2025.

Films in the Midnight Shorts Competition will compete for the audience award:

"The Black Sardine".
