SSSR. Hladni rat. Početak 1960-ih. U tajnom istraživačkom institutu gdje Kurchatov radi, mjerači zračenja prestaju registrirati zračenje. Jedan po jedan prestaju raditi, sve dok se ne zaustavi i posljednji u zgradi.

USSR. Cold war. The beginning of the 1960s. At a secret research institute where Kurchatov works, radiation counters stop registering radiation. They fail one after another, until all of them in the building stop.
